Inspired by Lynda from Hookin With LaaLaa and her amazing
Coming Up Roses hot water bottle cover
I got myself into a complete muddle between American terminology and English terminology (seriously can we all not make MY life easier and use the same?) I ended up doing MY double crochet which in fact is English treble .. .. ..
so when I went to cross stitch the Cath Kidston flowers on *shakes head* no way was that happening for me.
I was able to save the day by using Attic 24 Crochet Flowers pattern
It may not have worked out _exactly_ as I was inspired
But I'm loving it and its imperfections
I hope its new owner will love it equally as much
Happy Birthday Leonie
See you in Christchurch
I did scribble write up a tutorial/pattern roughly as I went which I am happy to share

it is ADORABLE!! Lucky lady Leonie!!
Just love it!!!
Gorgeous!
I was just thinking that I might have to get the hot wattle bottles out for you guys this weekend!
As I can only crochet Granny Squares, I think your double or treble crochet looks great in the warm hot water bottle cover you made...
So pretty!

It is very lovely. I have always problems with patterns in a foreign language. And the patterns are mostly that.

Oh love it! Do share the pattern! I am a novice crocheter (is that a word? lol) but my mum is a pro so I would get her to make me 1... or 3!
