Listening is such an important and under-rated skill, listening is a gift and an art, one which should be practiced and appreciated.
Listening is a gift this much loved and greatly missed man gave me . . . I LOVE this photo of him and I and can only but imagine the stories we were telling each other.
When we truly listen, we don’t just receive words and information, we GIVE attention, acknowledgement, and value to the speaker, respectfully hearing them.
Acknowledgement and Respect . . .
Let’s listen more, and maybe we will learn better communication.

yes! I often think, as much as I WANT to be listened to, I also need to do the listening.
