Love your new quilt. I love scrappy quilts anyway and the colours you have chosen are beautiful . The pop of red adds another dimension. Aren't we quilters strange animals? Always pointing out tiny mistakes that no one else would ever see? I have not looked at your quilt for mistakes, only the colours and how much it makes me feel happy! The quilter Dorothy Stapleton has a wonderful phrase which is my mantra.' Mistakes are a design opportunity'. So if your pinwheel points don't match exactly in the middle, sew a button there, or a Suffolk puff or a tiny appliquéd flower etc! Years ago I made a log cabin style quilt and when I was quilting it I found a few places where I hadn't sewn the 1/4" seams properly, so I covered them with appliquéd hearts! In effect I was putting on a patch. It worked and the quilt had another level of interest!

a gorgeous quilt! adore the heart pillow too. Vintage pillowcases seem hard to find these days. I've just received the material for my 4 th paper for this year and have already signed up for semester one next year too - exam in a week - oh boy....Good luck for any exams you may have.
