I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something you can be thankful for no matter how simple it is.
Like spending a gloriously sunny Saturday at Hobsonville Point Farmers Market!
We found ourselves inside an old hanger, amongst a real 'foodies’ market, selling fresh local farm produce, breads, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, organics, coffee, and honey
The views were incredible and the kids loved running and playing in the big wide open spaces.
Overlooking the Waitemata Harbour, Hobsonville was a New Zealand Air Force base for almost 100 years, providing a crucial role during WWII.
Outside live music and wooden games (locally made by our very own Auckland Blogger) added to the relaxed atmosphere.
Further up the road stopping for a play in the playground resulted in scraps and tears .. .. .. until .. .. .. we heard that familiar sound
LOVING my weekend with my amazing family
Loving Hobsonville Point - it's history and it's future

Looks like a fun place!
We used to swim across to Hobsonville from beachHaven wharf as kids in the 50s and 60s. Then swim in the pool on the base. Use to spend hours watching all the various flying boats taking off from there.
The market out there is absolutely fantastic isn't it? We must go again soon!
