OpShop Show Off 14 May 2013

A recent trip to my local hospice shop
I found these two beauties
I have no plans for them, however, seeing the detail and the amount of work gone into each one, at $1 each I couldn't leave them there.

These are beautiful, remind me of shadow drawings. They would look great in box frames xo

they are sweet - they would look good in plain black frames

or on a cushion?

Gorgeous- professionally framed would be close to $100 going by my framing lately! I would do it myself.

My immediate thought was that you should frame them as pictures or let each one become the centre of a cushion. But I see that these ideas have already been suggested! Enjoy your lovely find.

I feel the same way when I see someone's hard work at the oppy. I wonder if the maker got tired of them or if the receiver wasn't fond of them. I have some cross stitch pieces that I plan to make into a cushion. Just an idea. They'd be nice framed too tho.
