Summer Holidays

I wholeheartedly believe that no matter what is happening in your life, there is always something you can be thankful for..no matter how simple it is.

Camping Views
Sunrise, Sunset
During the day
For a week this was our home

Tsunami and Philosopher
Best of friends
Playing happily together

Being kids
Climbing trees
Building damns
Swings made from driftwood and rope

Slowing down to the speed of Summer
Reading in the evening
Reading lagoon side
Playing tourist in my own country
Hanging with my kids
This year I avoided bees stings, however, my head and a pohutakawa tree had a slight run in

Playing tourist in my own city

Philosopher and Mama date
Matakana Markets
Leigh Reptile Park
Goat Island

Tsunami and Mama date
So many pretty butterflies Mama
Read me about the Mummy having her brain out again Mama

Simple. Achievable. Intentional: becoming the mama I want to be

And
And

Morning rushes and racing out the door to kindy and school have resumed
Summer holidays seem like a life time ago
I had a good summer
I had a great summer

Great photo's, I love how you put them in groups. Yikes the bump to the head looks painful!
Back to the routines of life.

Hi Cat welcome back.... I was wondering where were you all. Back to work is also a good thing. Gives more value to next Holidays!
Cheers

What a lovely glimpse at a part of the world I've always wanted to see! Thank you for sharing your vacation with us!
I hope by now you have received the pouch I made you for the Sew Delicious Pouch Swap. I got my "Cats" mixed up and for a moment thought I was meant to send it to a "Cat" in Australia, but Ros got me straightend out and told me I had the right country, but the wrong Cat!

What a lovely relaxing holiday, the perfect antidote to the rest of our busy years! Playing tourist in your own country is definitely a great thing to do as we found out in Northland - the north of the country (even where you visited) is such a beautiful part of the world hey!
