The spirit of Easter

is about Hope,
Love and Joyfull living.
Happy Easter!

Inspired by Bron from Taylor Made gifts for her PlayCentre Mums I decided this years Easter Egg Hunt brunch the kids would have a little something different.

A Basket Of Bunnies

Mrs. Bunny looks funny when she
Twitches her nose,
Mrs. Bunny looks funny when she
Wriggles her toes,

 Two floppy ears and
Two big feet,
I love Mrs. Bunny ‘cause
She’s so neat.

Mrs. Bunny stretches,
Mrs. Bunny flops,
Mrs. Bunny hops and hops and hops and
Mrs. Bunny hops and stops.

At Easter we have a tradition with a group of friends of an Easter Egg hunt and brunch.
This year I decided to help cut back on the copious amounts of chocolate (oh believe me there will still be copious amounts) I thought I'd make Bunnies and Bunny tails for the children to find as part of the Eater Egg Hunt
Using the same pattern I did when I sewed with Tsunamis class I made us

Bunny Bunting

Inspired by Leonie over at Kiwi At Heart
The kids and I set out to make some Easter Bunny Bunting

I found a bunny shape on my friend Dr Google, printed it off and traced it onto paper
Photocopying a page for each of us we set about painting our bunnies

Some very careful cutting around the outlines
and we had bunny shapes ready to glue onto pages from op shopped Enid Blyton books

Careful positioning
The hardest part of this creative project was Mama (me) letting the kids just go with it, the perfectionist in me always wanting to 'help'

I was super proud of my kids, who 'shared' their bunnies with each other giving a yellow and orange and different shaped bunny bunting
