Maybe in distance but not in heart
Using blocks from my 3x6 modern bee
Where I asked for pinks and aquas with a background of white
Adding in Stitching around the block by Helen Stubbings a project from 2010 which had been sitting in my projects half done basket since *cough* January 2011
Grabbing some pink fabric from my stash
I pulled everything together to create a bright happy modern 'friendship' quilt
Leeanne of Quilt Me Kiwi was in my Stitching around the block by Helen Stubbings group so when the block was finally used in a quilt, it seemed 'right' she was the person who quilted it.
I just LOVE the job she did
The vintage op shopped flannelette sheet makes the perfect backing for the bright modern colourful quilt
And within moments of me finishing the binding the quilt had been snuggled under

It is fabulous - love the vintage sheet colours too. It will be nice to use and remember all the friends who made blocks.
