I AM A Hugger

Before the Christchurch blogging conference we were all given a name badge and gift swap partner as an ice breaker for

Saturday Morning

My swap partner Emily - What A Hoot
I was fortunate to have met Emily once before at Friday Craft night

There had been talk all around blogsphere - to hug or not to hug
** I AM A Hugger **
and the thought that someone might not be a hugger was like a foreign language to me
After discovering Emily was NOT a hugger a plan formed

Emily
What A Hoot
I am not a natural hugger

I love love loved the name badge Emily made for me.

There are some seriously creative bloggers/women out there and some outstanding name badges
In fact Roz did a blog post about them

Linking in with Show and tell
Whilst your there check out Leonie's Mouse House another amazingly creative name badge

 Show & Tell Thursday's

Sunday Afternoon

A quiet reflective walk around the streets of Lyttleton left me choking back tears
It wasn't that long ago we were considering relocating our lives to this artistic village

How cute is that Hoot Owl and your name badge is gorgeous too.
Hmm I find it hard to hug... Our bobbers hug each morning but I chose who to hug.. :(

Just a note about Lyttelton. It was so wonderful to show you (and the others) around Cat. Despite the damage, there is a wonderful community spirit that supports and brings hope here. I blog more specifically about Lyttelton and thought you'd be interested to see links to some of the granny graffitti http://piecebypeacecottage.blogspot.co.nz/2012/06/grubb-cottage-gets-warm-fuzzies.html

Big hugs from me!

I am a hugger too. :) I hugged someone on the Saturday night, I can't remember who it was... They gave me this really awkward face. It was awkward. Then, in that moment of awkwardness, I wondered if I had just hugged one of the non-huggers. Uh-oh!

(note to that person) If you're reading this, and it was you who I hugged, I'm sorry! You looked huggy.

I love this post.

I was the lucky one with the name tags - loved my owl, it's up on my noticeboard above my desk where I see it all the time. Awesome.
